The Web Corner, Inc. operates Texas Food Handler Academy.

Information used to provide training

We collect your name, email, optional phone number, account credentials, course progress, quiz attempts, completion attestation, payment status and certificate records. Passwords are stored as hashes. Security records help protect access and document administrative changes.

Payments and email

When configured, Stripe processes payment details on its checkout page. This application stores payment references and status, not payment card numbers. An email provider delivers account and course messages.

Public verification

Anyone with a production certificate number can check its status, course, dates, and the student's first name and last initial. Public verification does not show email, phone, quiz responses or payment information.

Cookies and external resources

A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address. No advertising analytics are included in this application.

Retention and access

Our internal policy is to retain completion and certificate records for at least five years, subject to applicable requirements. Access to internal records is limited to authorized administrators. Contact us to request access, correction or a review of your information.
